This imposing 17th century manor house is located in the privileged area of Valldemossa (Mallorca), an unique place for the spectacular beauty of its landscape.
We have just carried out a site visit to this property in Majorca, as the owners have not returned for over 5 years, leaving just a caretaker on site. The owners have decided now to quickly move forward and ready to accept a low reasonable offer.
The property was bought by the current owners in 2005 at considerable cost in terms of renovation and alterations, and they continued to come and go for the next few years, only to leave the property derelict.
All the wooden entrance doors, shutters, solar panels, and pool liners will need a major refurbishment, and some roof tiles may need changing. The interior fittings are in good condition but from another era (will need updating). Surprisingly, there is no sign of damp or structural damage to the house, which is a good sign. Which means that we are only talking about cosmetic refreshing.
A new moratorium is being discussed on the island of Mallorca, which means it could be easier to obtain a hotel operating licence.
